Kat is born in Japan and lives there until her parents die in a car crash. She is then sent to live with her aunt who is incredibly abusive. Eventually she runs away to a guy who called her his gf. And then that leads to her dropping out of highschool and such. She ends up getting trafficked. Viola takes her to the States with a fake passport. Viola wants to be free from being a reaper (but she doesn't have the power and needs the souls to make her stronger) so she uses Kat to push drugs and negative things without breaking the reaper rules. When she kills Kat that's the last soul she needs. Filled with regret she revives Kat starting Kat’s mild psychosis. This leads to Viola checking in Kat to the institution. Kat escapes. She ends up running over Cream. Cream calls her an angel before running away thinking he was dead. He ends up finding her one night at a club while he’s working a job. She finds it charming that he’s not mad and they begin a friendship. After being kicked out of the motel she was staying at, he offers a spare room for her to rent out of his house. They end up kind of sleeping around together and Kat is under the impression it's for rent but it turns out it's not. They end up actually dating after that badabing badaboom! Married and 6 kids.
